Abstract

Coconutsharvestedeveryyear,playahugeroleintheeconomyofseveralregionsandcountries.InIndia,main placesarethestatesofTamilNadu, lakshdweep ,Kerala,andKarnataka.Majorityofcoconutsharvestingisdonebyclimbingthe treeandcuttingitbyhand.Itisseemsimple;but,itisaactuallydangerous.Theneedtodevelopadevicefor coconuttreeclimbingandcutting.Wehavestudiedvariousresearchpaperstodotheworkinthisarea.Thelarge scopeofdevelopmentinthistopicbecauseofthecostandcomplexitydesigndeviceavailableinthemarket.The major objective of this study is to design a device for coconut tree climbing and cutting containing fewer complexitiesandwhichiscomparativelylesscostly.
