Abstract

As the knowledge base in the Computer Science is growing, many new programming languages are being introduced. On one hand the software industry, while hiring a computer programmer, expects him to be aproficient in computer programming. But on other hand there is deficiency of computer programmers who are skilled in programming. So to bridge this gap it’s crucial to assess the programming abilities of students. Testing and grading programming assignments manually requires more time and are less efficient as far as its correctness is concerned.
