Abstract

This paper introduces the technology of re-circulation evaporative cooling (REC), which uses a portionofsupplyairassecondaryairto makecool water usedtoindirectlycool outsideairthrougha heat exchanger.Thecirculation volumeofsecondary airis oneofthemainfactorsthat haveanimpactontheeffectivenessof REC.Accordingtothetechnology,aset ofapparatuswassetup.The coolingeffectwastested underdifferent circulationvolumesofsecondaryairin summer.The testresultsshowthatthecooling effectiveness rapidlyincreasesandthenlevelsoff withthe increase oftheratio ofcirculation volume. Weconcludethatthereisa proper rangeofthecirculation volume
