Protecting integrity, validity and ownership of digital multimedia has become a major issue today. Reliable transmission of data over Internet and verification of originality of this data has become a challenge. This leads to the need of studying, analyzing and modelling various attacks on watermarked image. The watermarked image is often subjected to geometric transformation resulting in degradation of the quality of watermarked image. Comprehensive study and analysis of geometric attacks is carried out to study its effect on degradation ofthe qualityof watermarked image.
