Abstract

In Variable displacement pumpthe displacement or amount of fluid pumped per revolution of pump?s input shaftcan be varied as per requirement. This paper investigate the different improvements achieved for increase the efficiencyof variable displacementpump.This paper alsodiscussed about the alternative mechanisms for variable displacement pump to improve efficiency and cost reduction of pump.
