This article analyzes of theoretical and methodological foundations of the history of musical culture, the use of various research methods in studying the topic, solving problems based on dialectical, synergetic, logistic and other methods of scientific knowledge in the study of historical processes. Including in the article the question of the mutual connection of the philosophical outlook and musical expression, that music is one of the components of the process of creating a musical picture of the world.
