Abstract

In this study we are going to study a numerical analysis conducted to investigate the influence of interrupted surfaces on compact heat exchangers. The performance of CHX’x in terms of heat transfer enhancement and pressure drop can be augmented by incorporating innovative passive techniques. The effect of vortex generators with different number of rows, attack angles and configuration on heat transfer performance and pressure drop will be demonstrate.
