Abstract

Automotive sector is massively leading the economy of our country. People are more passionate towards two wheelers as well as four wheeler vehicles due to their efficiency as well as comfortness. Engine is the heart of the every vehicle. Most of the unusual results or damages within the engine could be noticed at the outset of the engine. This leads to the expensive work upon engine sometimes this leads to the replacement of whole engine due to the small failure of engine part. Piston acts a major part during the power generation or the engine. Normally piston should be replaced after certain number of time frame. This will be cast effective as well. Proposed work studies the factors effecting on piston to damage early and prepares piston material using sand casting by adding more than 12% Silicon, which gives the high strength.
