DEVELOPMENT OF DRYING UNIT FOR MEDICINAL PLANTS

Abstract

The article sets out an approach to the selection of a drying unit for drying capillary-porous medicinal plants using the convective method in large volumes. When collecting medicinal herbs, it is necessary to have information about the place of concentration of useful elements and about the period of plant development when their concentration is maximum. The most widely used medicinal plants are in traditional medicine. Various types of convection-type drying plants are considered. Schematic diagrams of a water-heating drying plant, information on parts and parts are given. The current state of this problem, the causes and reasonable data for the selected methodology described in the text are shown.
