Abstract

Every bank inSaudi Arabia has an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) facility throughout the country. However, due to its complex layout, people who are not familiar with technology are still not prepared to use it. Each ATM has its layout that confusesusers too. In this paper, an attempt has been taken to identify problems andflaws in many of the current ATMs layouts. A comparative analysis is conducted between different ATMs, therefore explains causes of the need for optimal interface depending on ease of use which increases usability with consideration of the ability and psychology of people usingATMs.
