ThisresearchpaperdealswiththestaticstructuralanalysisofflangewherepinsandshaftweremountedonflangeviaM12bolt.

StressandFactorofsafety(FOS)

offlangewerestudiedwithvaryingthicknessofflange(22mm,25mmand28mm)andloadcondition(250kg,300kgand350kg).

Theresultsuggeststhatflangewith22mmhasexceedminimumyieldstrengthof250MPa.

Whereasflangewith25mmand28mmhasminimum1.21and1.

5FOSrespectivelyformaximumloadconditions.WithdesirableFOSvalueof1.5,

flangewith28mmthicknessholdpositiveforallloadingconditions.
